Bethesda Ministry of Love in Indonesia

Organization Background

Indonesia is a country that has suffered greatly due to the economic crisis that erupted in 1997. This crisis has only increased the suffering of the poor, the homeless, the handicapped, and many other very needy ones of this country. In response to God's Word and to the cries of these souls Bethesda ministry was begun.

In the late 1980's, the founder of Bethesda, Yani Lim, was called to pray for a very poor and needy family. From that first outreach, the Lord began to give increasing opportunities to minister to the poor. From there, a prison ministry was developed and over time the Lord led Bethesda to be very involved in the lives of the poor and needy of Indonesia. Some of the ministries that have developed over the years since then are:

Pray:

-For the ministries of Bethesda

Give:

-Financially support the ministry

-The medical program is in constant need of supplies, the on-going demands of residential maintenance and supplies

Further development of the ministry to prisnoers and others in need (such as cassettes, prothestic equipment, Bibles, etc.)

Assist Bethesda with its prayer dream of purchasing its own property.

Come over and assist Bethesda short or long term in any of the previously mentioned ministry avenues. Someone with administrative abilities could also provide assistance in the management of these ministries.
